The removal of the 5th Avenue lowhead dam was followed by an extensive project to restore the river banks to a more natural state. Three different signs were created to explain the benefits of the project and the changes that will take place. Partners in this project included FLOW (Friends of the Lower Olentangy Watershed), The Ohio State University, The City of Columbus, US EPA and Ohio EPA.
