Bartley’s Preserve is a recently protected area of land near Circleville, in Pickaway County, Ohio. The preserve is named for Floyd Bartley, a self taught botanist who devoted his life to identifying Ohio plants. He collected thousands of plant specimens for scientific collections, and even found two new species that now bear his name.
